I visited the beautiful Naksan Temple, on the East Sea (Dong Hae), and heard that a man may have set fire to it, similar to the man that set fore to the Paldaemun Gate (did I get that right?) in Seoul. If someone did do this unspeakable ack, they cannot call themselves Christians.

From what I learned when visiting Korea, about 40% of Koreans are Christian, 40% are Buddhist, and the balance are different things (mostly due to being non-natives)... The native Koreans are almost 50/50.
